| Interventions | Patients will receive two sets of Essix retainers. They will be randomly allocated to one of two groups:
1. One group will visit the department every three months for review by the clinician.
2. The other group will instead receive a phone call from a dental nurse every three months to check on progress.
All patients will visit the department at the end of twelve months retention for record collection and questionnaire. |
