InterventionsPilot study. Single-blind, randomised controlled trial to assess debridement of contaminated facial wounds using a Piezon Ultrasonic Scaler compared to abrasive scrubbing. Subjects are treated under General Anaesthetic for debridement of facial wounds. A blinded examiner will assess wound healing and the photographs graded on a scale of 1-6 (poor-excellent debridement).
