Target number of participants40
InterventionsFeasibility study using two randomly assigned groups of patients. Randomisation into 2 groups completing 3 RA validated self assessments (self assess joints, rating scale for pain HAQ, global assessment of disease activity) using a touch screen computer and a final nurse led joint assessment blinded to patients' own assessments. A second group completing the same tests but in a different order followed by the nurse assessment. Both patients groups will evaluate satisfaction and ease of use of the touch screen.
Primary outcome measure(s)The proportion of patients who would be willing to complete the touch screen in future clinic visits (acceptability, reliability of scores comparison of nurse versus patient assessments).
