Participants - inclusion criteria
|
1. School children identified by participating school as "at risk of academic underachievement"
2. Consent obtained from guardian
3. Child "Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals UK-3" completed

Participants - exclusion criteria
|
All children with language age below 70 (in these cases referral is made to the SLT clinical service)

Please note that as of 29/06/10 it has been confirmed that this trial was stopped due to lack of staff and resources.
Pilot RCT. Intervention consists of 9 sessions of speaking and listening activities developed by the investigator for the study.
