|
1060 patients requesting same day appointments in general practice; agreement to randomisation to doctor or nurse.

Participants - exclusion criteria
|
Children <1 yr, pregnant women, those presenting with chest pain, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, fitting, significant bleeding, stroke, collapse, severe abdominal pain, psychiatric problem, not fluent in English.
