Participants - inclusion criteria Patients with acute cerebrovascular events of defined etiology including:
1. Cardiac right-to-left shunt
2. Transient ischemic attack (TIA) with symptoms lasting <1 hour
3. Intracerebral bleeding
4. Intracranial stenosis
5. Dissection of brain supplying arteries
6. Coagulation disorder
7. Previous history of migraine
8. Basilar artery occlusion
9. Vasculitis
10. Arteriovenous malformation
11. Moyamoya syndrome
Participants - exclusion criteria Inability or refusal to provide consent for study participation
