3. To assess the costs of the intervention against a range of outcomes using a 'costs & consequences' approach
4. To undertake a process evaluation and produce an intervention manual

Interventions Smoking behaviour of Year 8 pupils, followed up for 2 years
Primary outcome measure(s) Change in smoking prevalence among the 'high risk' group (experimenters, ex-smokers and less than weekly smokers), change in prevalence in the year group. Smoking prevalence is operationalised as that proportion having smoking in the last 7 days.
Secondary outcome measure(s) Perception of norms regarding adolescent smoking, intention to quit.
